LTCOL Mariney is in his 3rd year as Druid Hills NJROTC
Senior Naval Science Instructor. LTCOL Mariney comes to
Druid Hills after serving as the Executive Officer and
Assistant Professor of Naval Science for Georgia Tech's
NROTC Department. LTCOL Mariney spent 30 years in the United
States Marine Corps and brings his military experience to
Druid Hills Cadets. LTCOL states that he has learned a lot
as Druid Hills SNSI and looks forward to many more year at
Druid Hills.
Senior Chief Pauling has been teaching Naval Science 1 for
over 15 years and has been with Druid Hills NJROTC
since the beginning. He originally started his career as
an educator at Shamrock High School, which is now Shamrock
Middle School. After Shamrock High merged with Druid Hills
in 1996, the JROTC program moved with it. Senior Chief
Pauling strongly believe in pushing his cadet to be better
people. "Never let anyone tell you that you can't be
successful", says Senior Chief Pauling. Senior Chief has
just finished his 11th year at Druid Hills and states he
will be at Druid Hills as long as he can.
